Constellations

Our dreams are constellations

that wait to be placed.

Heaven holds a galactic breath

as we contemplate

where to toss stars.

Half the world sleeps

while the rest sleepwalk

and who can tell the difference

anymore?

We are most awake

dreaming,

when all is possible

and we hold stars in our hands.
