Spring Rising
My subject matter varies from the naturally occurring abstract shapes, patterns, and forms found in nature to the mystical, ceremonial, and picture writing symbols created by ancient civilizations, cultures, and religions. Through my drawing, painting, and photography, I wish to honor our natural world, and the ancient arts and symbols of human existence.
Jeannie E. Roberts writes, draws and paints, and often photographs her natural surroundings. She has worked as a freelance fashion and nature photographer as well as a professional portrait photographer. Her nature photos appear in print anthologies and in online journals and magazines, including An Ariel Anthology, Blue Heron Review, Midwestern Gothic, Off the Coast, Portage Magazine, Presence, Quill & Parchment and elsewhere.
